What's New at the website? |
Well this is where you will find out! The site first hit the
net in July 2000 and hopefully will become a useful resource
for both our club members and other divers alike. (For details
of SAA Regional
News, Club News Snips and Club
Events please see the relevant pages).

NOV 2000: |
- The training directory now
includes details about the club Try-A-Dive
sessions for those people who are new to the sport and who wish
to have a go at scuba diving.
- The site has had a major change in relation to file name
and directory storage. With this in mind, any page locations
and URLs that were previously stored as bookmarks or favourites
may require updating. Check out the CWR
Site Map.

- The latest section that is currently under construction is
the website library. In here,
apart from the usual collection of books and reading recommendations,
you will also find other articles and documents of interest that
don't necessarily fit elsewhere in the site. The first of these
is the recent press coverage (Sept 2000) about the exploits of
local diver and friend, Keith '
Gold finder' Jessop.

mentioned in her guest
book entry that she found the original colour scheme of the
site a little hard to read and, Keith
Powell sent me an e-mail to say... I like the site, too
but the blue against the black maybe a bit harsh, but you are
the Webmaster, and you cant always please everyone. Never mind
any dive site is a good site. Without further delay and partial
agreement I have changed the colours. This would be a little
easier if I was up to speed with HTML style sheets... Something
else I must get around to learning about!
- 25.07.00: New this week are some pages that I have
transferred from one of my other websites. These include; Information
about Jacques Cousteau, The
Cousteau Society and some pages relating to Dive
Travel. There is also an introduction
page listing all the new content which you can see here.
- 13.07.00: This weeks updates include; changes to the
Gallery Section, the addition
of a page for Members Classified Adverts
and the inclusion of an automatic e-mail form
on the site to provide an easy means of sending feedback about
the site or make comments on diving related matters. Oh yes,
and the usual routine editing and maintenance of the site!

- 06.07.00: The 1st site update includes a Dive
Forum, a Guest
